Yesterday’s email about the secret copywriting power of ‘raito-hededdo’ was a big hit with one Persuasive Page reader, who replied:
“AWESOME email mate.
Do you have interest and time to discuss you writing copy for landing pages and emails sequences, as well as reviewing work for my clients who want to write it themselves?”
What’s funny is that email didn’t contain a pitch for my copywriting services. It actually pitched my upcoming guide to my customer research process.
Yet it ended up selling my services anyway.
This wasn’t a random result, by the way. This is part of a very simple business-building strategy I am executing before your eyes each day:
- Get in front of the people who would want to hire me (i.e. by having them on my list)
- Make them want to hire me by constantly reminding them them why I’m so good at what I do (i.e. with a daily email)
It doesn’t get much simpler than that, does it?
A lot of people would like to complicate things a lot more.
Come up with fancy strategies, sort out their SEO, design a nice webpage, and all that jazz.
They just forget the important part …
Doing the actual hard work of creating good stuff and putting it in front of the people who will pay you.
And like you’ve just seen, you can sneakily sell your skills while seeming to sell something else …
